Cheryl Craver attended the University of Cincinnati and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in Art Education. She majored in fiber arts and minored in photography. In the late 80’s and 90’s her weavings were featured at a furniture store in the Cincinnati area. After moving back to the Cleveland area to attend Kent State University, Cheryl received a Master in Education and began working in jewelry design, including stone setting. While raising her children Renn and David, she maintained an Etsy shop selling jewelry before expanding to work in fiber art and photography, creating clothing designs, home goods and accessories. Her brand is PrairyErth Designs and it encompasses all the media she loves.

Cheryl assists Liz Maugans at the Yards Projects at Worthington Yards, promoting artists from the Cleveland area. In addition, she works at the new City Goods on the corner of W29th and Church St in Hingetown. This unique concept promotes local artists and entrepreneurs.
